Pauline L. Tremblay
Pauline L. Tremblay is a successful, professional Hairstylist and has worked in the film and television industry since her start at the CBC Vancouver in 1981. As the only qualified hairstylist in the Make-up Department at the time, Pauline had the edge due to her years of working in the salon, and was given the career changing opportunity to work with Canadian singer/songwriter Paul Anka. Pauline's work with Mr. Anka led to commercials, more television, and concert tours with Paul, which took her to exotic destinations such as Italy, France, Germany, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Hawaii, Spain, and England. She continued her work in television and commercials, as well as theatre, the salon, educational videos, and teaching workshops. Since then, Pauline has had the great pleasure of styling the locks of many Hollywood celebrities, including Diane Lane, Russel Crowe, Rebecca Romajin, Famke Janssen, Toni Collette, Ben Kinsley, James Marsden, and worked as Ashley Judd's personal hairstylist on the hit film Double Jeopardy. There have been numerous great films that Pauline has been involved with, such as X-Men 2, In the Land of Women, Mystery Alaska, Connie & Carla and I Spy. Her recent work can be seen on the television series jPod and Another Cinderella Story – due for release this year. Now Pauline brings her passion, vast experience and knowledge to the classroom – "Introduction to Hairstyling for Film & television" at Capilano College.
