Membership Fees:

$25 CAD Annually:
Students* (with valid BeautyCouncil Permit), Apprentices (with valid BeautyCouncil Permit) and Honourable (65+ years of age and retired) RUSH fee, $25 conditions apply.

*Students enrolled in BeautyCouncil-approved institutions may apply for membership through the Student Permit program. The permit covers your period of schooling, plus provides your first year of membership at no charge.

$65 CAD Annually:
Employees, instructors, teachers, salesmen, chair renters, mobile services, and those not currently working in the industry.

$100 CAD Annually:
Schools, school owners, salons or spas, salon or spa owners, home based businesses, manufacturers, wholesales and dealers. RUSH fee, $25 conditions apply.

$25 CAD REACTIVATION FEE:
A reactivation fee of $25 may be applicable for expired members.

$25 CAD RUSH FEE (conditions apply):
Membership documentation emailed within 24 hours. The RUSH fee can be applied to all membership renewals and must be processed by mail, email, phone, fax or in-person.

PAST CIABC MEMBERS
Former members of Cosmetology Industry Association of BC (CIABC) can obtain copies or reprints of their Certificate of Qualification at $150 each, or $20 each with a current BeautyCouncil membership. Please contact the BeautyCouncil Membership Department for more information. RUSH fee, $25, conditions apply.

* PLEASE NOTE EXISTING MEMBERS: A signed application is not necessary.
Please include your EXISTING MEMBERSHIP NUMBER WITH PAYMENT FOR RENEWAL.

  2. Mail cheque/money order/credit card information with EXISTING MEMBERSHIP NUMBER to:
